Hair & Beauty Magazine
As a newbie to hair oils and other creams I thought I would make my way through some of my many sample bottles and this one was at the top of my list as it came from a great Christmas gift set. The Umberto Giannini Salon Straight Blow Dry Cream is pretty self explanatory as it is a cream used in the hair before blow drying to ensure your hair is left looking straight and silky. I'll be honest and say that I haven't actually been using it for that purpose a lot of the time, instead as a finishing serum to smooth down any friziness or flyaways after I've curled or straightened my hair, but it gave great results with both the applications. The smaller tube is still a generous size for a sample with 50ml of product and a little goes a long way so it has lasted me quite a while with plenty of cream left to go. It has a lovely and light scent that lingers on the hair for a little before disappearing and is a fairly thin consistency meaning that your hair won't be weighed down or left looking greasy. Unfortunately this product isn't as readily available as it was about a year ago (why oh why would you take it away Umberto Giannini?!) but you can find a full size 200ml bottle online for around £5-£6 which is a price I would definitely pay when this tube runs out. Are you a fan of Umberto Giannini products?
