Did you know that only 16 fashion houses show their creations at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week? It's an extremely prestigious club of the world's most talented designers. Well, besides my beloved Dior and the like, the one couturier I'm most looking forward to see as the years progress is Ulyana Sergeenko. She's got a gorgeous way of mixing a vintage aesthetic with modern sensibilities. And her chosen models on her runways always have a dash of Hollywood movie star to them. For her Spring 2013 adventure in haute couture, Ulyana found inspiration in the most unlikely of places: the American South. Let me be more specific, I'm talking Gone with the Wind American South.... And I love it! Although a lover of vintage looks, I never realized how much I loved the Gone With the Wind-era styles until Ulyana presented her take on it. From the fabulous hats to the perfectly done hems, the creations were designed head-to-toe with perfection. Clearly haute couture is where Miss Sergeenko belongs...
