UBC Day 2: Why I Started Blogging

Keeping in line with the Ultimate Blog Challenge that I began participating in here, I'm sharing how I began this blog. It's more a why for me than a how. I began blogging as an outlet for my creative energy. It helped me through the grieving process I was on as a result of my dad’s demise. At the time I was also coming out of a four-five year loving relationship. It was tough. My blog became a very much needed hobby through it all. It was my happy space. I cannot remember how I discovered blogging, but I attribute the discovery to my curious spirit. That grieving phase as well as other toxicities I encountered along the way has ended now. By God, it has.  My blog has always been a hobby and as a result I have not put much focus into it. Choosing instead to focus on trying to get my IRL life into some semblance of sanity. But, I’m seeking to begin a new phase of my existence here and I’m looking forward to where this new phase goes. Upwards I hope and expect. By Heavens, Only upwards now. Thank you once again to all of you who have come along on this journey with me; to those whose actions have inadvertently grown me in ways I’d never thought I could and to those who have enjoyed my company. I have enjoyed yours as well. Let’s keep doing it.
