At least eight people were including two police personnel were killed in the incidents of violence in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police, armed motorcyclists opened fire near Site-B police station, killing two policemen Zahid and Khaild on the spot. SSP West Asif Ijaz Sheikh declared the incident as target killing.
On the other hand, unidentified men killed a person, identified as Shoaib, in Yousaf Goth.
Two men, identified as Hassan and Saeed, were killed by two armed men riding the bicycle in Korangi area.
Three persons were killed in Mangho Pir, Kanwari Colony and Nusrat Bhutto Colony on National High Way.
CID personnel Noor Hussain, who was critically injured in the Liaqatabad firing incident yesterday, lost his life in the hospital.
