CNBC reports that beginning tomorrow, Twitter will require your profile to include a header photo, similar to the Facebook cover photo. If you don’t provide a header photo, your profile will include what Twitter calls a “not fun” default gray image.
That’s right! All this action is happening on the same day that the Pope is expected to deliver his first tweet!
Three Things The Pope Could Add To His Mandatory Twitter Header
1. A “totally fun” Facebook logo. Sure, mocking the fact that Twitter seems to be copying Facebook may violate Twitter’s terms of service, but is anyone really going to enforce Twitter’s terms of service against the Pope?
2. A banner ad for a Vatican-robe-style Snuggie.
3. Combinations to all Vatican safes. Hey, everyone makes security and identity theft errors in their first forays into social networks, right? Although giving away this information will completely destroy any mystery for the next five Dan Brown novels.
