Twinsie Tuesday - Seasonal Gradient

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!
For this week's Twinsie Tuesday theme, we have to share a seasonal gradient.  I was stumped for a bit with this one, but eventually came up with something I liked.
Twinsie Tuesday - Seasonal Gradient
In NYC, we've been experiencing winter for a long time now.  Long before the actual start date.  When I think of winter colors, I automatically think of blue, so I wanted to do a blue gradient.  I started off with China Glaze Electric Beat as a base, then did a gradient with OPI Swimsuit... Nailed It!

I then used my dotting tools to create gradient dots with A-England Excalibur.

For a sparkly, wintery finish, I added a coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection, then topped it off with Nubar Diamont.

I really love how this manicure turned out!! To me, it is very reminiscent of the season.  The dots remind me of snow (not my favorite thing) and the shimmer from Pure Pearlfection look like sparkly flurries.  Love it!!
What do you guys think of this mani?  What comes to mind when you think of this season?
Be sure to stop by the other Twinsies to see the seasonal gradients they came up with!
