Gosh what a busy few months it's been, it feels like this weekend was the first time i've properly had a break and relaxed for ages, so I took full advantage! It was my birthday on Saturday so I do what I do best and ate my way through far too much food, I heard calories don't count during your birthday so that's the motto I lived by tbh. I popped over to my favourite little cafe called The Green Rocket in Bath, they seriously serve the most delicious vegan food, I ordered the Italian platter with some sweet potato fries to share and also squeezed in a nice big birthday slice of chocolate and orange torte! Necessity. I'm still full up 2 days later 🐷
I actually did something I've been wanting to do for a very long time, I started the process of going blonde! I've thought about doing it for a really long time, on and off for about 10 years now probably, but I decided to just take the plunge and go for it, YOLO right? Am I too old to say that now? Probably. I'm absolutely loving the change already and can't wait to go back and get it even lighter next month! Ended up making a day of it in the end with a friend of mine, we picked up some lunch and sat listening to the busker in the sunshine, obviously after popping into primark..it's a must you know.
After 3 1/2 hours of being in the salon, I was done, and I could not have been happier with the result, my hairdresser listened to everything I said and definitely didn't disappoint! Ill be posting all the progress photos as the process continues so look out for that! But for now, here are a couple of shots from the day!
I also helped a friend out with an exciting little project recently, although I can't say too much yet, when she asked me to be the Photographer for it I was so honoured and really excited, plus it means I can take a heck load of flat lay photos which are one of my favourite things to set up!
The first Sunday of the month I popped down to The Frome Independent Market, it seriously is the best market i've ever been to, with tons of food stalls from Japanese food to pulled pork rolls, vegan brownies and cakes, as well as furniture, a fresh lemonade stand, homemade decor and so much more, definitely always worth the visit!
I ended up buying some delicious lemonade from Hullabaloos as well as a delicious caramel and popcorn vegan brownie from the amazing Dark Matters, couldn't resist buying a second for later either 😏
Hope you all have a lovely week, it's a busy few weeks for me again but i'll update you all soon! :)
