{Twas The Day Before Christmas}

Twas the day before Christmas...with the house finally decorated and holiday cheer in the air, I'm awaiting James' arrival this evening. And from there...We will enjoy a late dinner and a celtic christmas service,before hopping into bed to await Santa's sleigh bells. ...ok ok, I'm not poet. But, I am so excited about this Christmas. It's James' and my first Christmas together and it will just be the two of us for the first celebration. I am making some yummy foods for Christmas Day dinner and he is in charge of breakfast. And boy what a feast I have planned...Virginia Ham with New England Cranberry Relish, Cheddar Biscuits from The Farm Basket, (his green bean recipe,) home made mashed potatoes, home made corn pudding, and a few other treats I don't want him to know about yet! The presents are all wrapped, the stocking stuffers are ready to be stuffed, and my Christmas Eve church service outfit is awaiting me on my gold sequined hanger. The mood is just right! Are you errands all done? What about cookies? And wrapping? Happy day before Christmas...but look forward to Santa coming tonight! (I'm feeling a little rhymy...) xoBCC
