House. Fans of Doctor Crankypants may be interested to learn this casting news: Odette Annable, better known for Brothers & Sisters, and Charylne Yi, from NBC's Love Bites, have joined the team as series regulars. Annable's character is someone House will meet while he's in prison in the beginning of the season, and who will become part of his team at Princeton-Plainsboro. Charylne Yi is also joining his diagnostics team starting with episode 2. Both actresses are designed to fill the void left by the departure of Amber Tamblyn and Olivia Wilde (who will make a short appearance, but whose movie career is now on the roll and will not be a series regular for the - presumably - last House season). Moreover, Princeton-Plainsboro will have a new Dean of Medicine, after Lisa Edelstein's departure from the show; this will be chosen from a list of seven possible candidates, including House's current team members (Foreman, Chase and Taub), his best friend Wilson and Wilson's ex, Sam. My bet is on one of the three members of his team, thus explaining the need to bring in two new people.TV Digest - News on House, Ringer and moreRinger. Those of you who are waiting forward to the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar on TV, here's some news regarding one of the sisters' love interests: not only is Siobhan torn between her husband (the gorgeous Ioan Gruffudd) and her lover (the even more gorgeous Kristoffer Polaha), but Sarah Michelle Gellar will be reunited with her All My Children former cast member, Justin Bruening, who will play a young man who becomes interested in Siobhan.Parenthood. After announcing that Jason Ritter will be returning to the NBC drama as Sarah's (Lauren Graham) on-again, off-again boyfriend Mark, TVLine has divulged that John Corbett (Sex and the City) will also return as Seth, her recovering alcoholic ex. Brittany Belt has also been cast for the upcoming third season as Haddie's best friend. Two and a Half Men. The CBS sitcom's ninth season will open with Charlie Harper’s funeral, notes Deadline.com. This silences the remaining voices that think Ashton Kutcher will just take over Charlie Sheen's old part. It is yet to be determined how Ashton's character will be introduced in the show.Game of Thrones. Gemma Whelan has been cast to play the part of Yara (Asha, in the books), Theon's older sister, in the HBO show's second season.
