Turkish Sweet Yogurt Cake

This is easy to make and fast preparing cake for every day. I have got this recipe from a Turkish chef and I decided to bake it with a Turkish spirit. So soft cake soaked in sherbet with lemon gives everybody refreshing taste of citrus fruits along with a sense of originality. If you decide to prepare this cake, stick to the recipe and don’t eat the cake while it’s hot

Method

Divide egg yolks from egg whites. Mix the egg yolks with all the ingredients listed above. Mix the egg whites in another bowl until it becomes firm and then add it into the batter. Easily and slowly stir in the egg whites and put the batter into the baking pan greased with butter. Bake the cake on 375 F degrees for approximately 35 minutes, or until the cake gets nice color. Leave the cake to cool down until you make the sherbet(syrup).
