Backstory: My wonderful wife of 52+ wonderful years decided for her "BIG" birthday party this year to treat the core family of 12 to a week at La Foce in Tuscany; by 13h30, 8 of us had arrived at their restaurant Dopolavoro on their 6,000 acre estate.
We range from really young to really, really old (me) and the choices at Dopolavoro covered everything from pasta with tomato sauce for the young kids, to meat and vegetables for the older kids, to charcuterie and cheese for some adults and crispy ribs and mixed salads for others. Colette and I shared a mixed salad, then she had a cheese plate and I had the ribs; all were superb.
Our bill with much wine and water, wound up at 142.65 E, thus 33.16 E a couple.
