In a recent LoHAS study it was confirmed that 75% of consumers are looking for green companies, not just products.  Consumers seem to be catching on that the environmental effects of a product are not contained within the actual product but the whole production process. The study also found that 60% of consumers are looking for a more universal certification. Consumers are reportedly confused by the 375 eco labels floating around out there and are looking for something that would make it easier for them to support good companies.
