This chart represents the results of the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between March 2nd and 6th of a random national sample of 1,283 voters, with a margin of error of 2.7 points.
The poll asked respondents whether they approved of the job Donald Trump is doing. A majority of the general public disapproved (52% to 41%) -- an 11 point gap.
Joining the general public in disapproving are women (by 24 points), 18-34 (by 27 points), 35-49 (by 11 points), 50-64 (by 6 points), and Non-whites (by 45 points). Giving Trump slight approval are Men (by 4 points) and Whites (by 4 points). Those 65 and older are evenly split (46% to 46%).
Trump started his term with a majority disapproving, and that is still true.
