True Blood Season 7: Episode 8 (entitled ‘Almost Home’) Synopsis

True Blood season 7, Episode 8 “Almost Home” airing Sunday, August 10:

With his prey in sight, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) reconsiders his end-game strategies against Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp). Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) puts her life at risk in hopes of saving Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) and Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) urge Reverend Daniels (Gregg Daniel) to join them in their V-fueled search for Tara (Rutina Wesley). Violet (Karolina Wydra) eyes payback against those who betrayed her, while an old love is reborn for others.

It seems Sarah is still on the loose and possibly not as eager to share her Hep-V antidote. Can Sookie find a cure and make Sarah Newlin completely redundant?

And what is so important to Tara that Lala and Lettie Mae try to draw the Reverend in?

I can totally get that Violet is like a woman scorned, and, to be honest, relieved that her vendetta will come to a head.

The last line has me intrigued though. It kind of makes me think of Hoyt (Jim Parrack) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) – especially since Hoyt turned up in the latest True Blood Season 7 teaser video. Will Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and Hoyt finally have it all out in relation to the woman they both love?
