I had watched (“True Blood”) since the beginning, so I was a fan, and I knew everything that had happened in the previous seasons, and getting to work with HBO, I mean, it’s a pretty incredible package to be offered. I never expected to book something like this.
While she may have never dreamed of working on the True Blood set, we sure are glad she auditioned in the first place, since Willa has, over such a short period of time, become a fan favorite.
Now that Willa has gone from being daddy’s little girl to Eric Northman’s (Alexander Skarsgard) little girl, what else could possibly be in store for her in Season 7? According to Amelia Rose Blaire, it’s a new crowd to hang out with!
So far this season, I’ve gotten to work with a very different group than I worked with last season. The things I’m doing to prepare now are very different than what I did last season, because Willa’s in a different place.
Well, isn’t that intriguing? While Willa was mainly focused with Eric and the vampires directly surrounding him in Season 6, there is a whole other world of characters she could get mixed up with in Season 7 – especially now her new vampire daddy burst into flames at the end of Season 6! Will she be spending some time with Sookie (Anna Paquin) down in Bon Temps perhaps? Or will there be loose ends to catch up on with her father’s colleagues? Maybe she’ll help out around Fangtasia? There are many options for her this season.
But Amelia is keeping quiet about what else may be happening in True Blood’s final season:
I have no idea how it’s going to end or where it’s going. But we’re moving very fast towards something, and I’m excited to see what it is we crash into. I think it’s going to be the perfect end.
