When I stopped at Trotter's Cafe in St. Paul's Merriam Park yesterday morning they were sold out of fresh cinnamon rolls! With tables filled with groups and singles alike, and the bustle of people coming and going it was easy to understand why. The bikes parked out front even on a winter day made me smile... this is a place where locals come to both eat and gather.

Their hand-written sidewalk tent sign announces the specials of the day, and you can also find their menu and specials online.
