Tropical Ready

I am so glad Friday is here. Pertaining to some new work projects, and gazillion other pending things, last week was a backbreaking one indeed ! For a while now, I had been putting things on a back burner and picking up newer and more exciting stuff in lieu of the other non-exciting things. I had been living such an undisciplined work life. You don't realize how fast things pile up, until you've reached that point where there is no escaping. Result- "you end up straining every nerve, to make up for this lost work time. " Last week was pretty much that kind of a week.  After all that work madness, the sole thing I had on my mind was a tropical getaway, one that was work-free and cold-free. But owing to our recent India trip, that ended up being an expensive affair, a tropical vacation was not on the cards anytime soon. So I figured out- if I can’t go on a tropical vacation, I can at least pretend to be on one by wearing clothing, exclusive to any tropical destination. Hence the palm print skirt, the green top, the bright happy-go-lucky scarf and the finishing touch of rosy lips.
