The advent of treadmill happened only for replacing human and animal power for grinding grains and other stuff. But today, treadmill has become one of the most important fitness tools for each and every person. Treadmills are widely utilized and placed in gymnasiums, fitness centers, sports club, hospitals, rehab centers, colleges, schools, etc…

Treadmill is a very useful device for people. It has multi – purpose benefits. Treadmill helps the person in reducing his or her weight and increase stamina. The person gets connected with the machine and hence forth can get the readings as well.

With growing stress levels, ad hoc eating and sedentary lifestyle, more and more people are getting affected with high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, hypertension and heart related issues. Our heart can also get infected with blood vessels diseases. Hence, treadmill helps in reducing the chances of getting infected with blood vessel and heart diseases. It reduces the bad cholesterol which is also known as low density lipoprotein and increases the good cholesterol i.e. high density lipoprotein. It is very essential for the heart patients to keep a watch on their dietary intake. They need to cut down on food items that are fried and contains excessive dairy products like cream, cheese, etc…

People facing excessive obesity and hypertension must consult a doctor and take recommendation with respect to treadmill and other cardio activities.
