The last time I posted, I was leaving Barcelona and heading to Madrid. Barcelona was beautiful! It presented me with a magnitude of fun times, laughter, and excitement.I hopped on the AVE High Speed Train and within a few short hours, I found myself in Madrid. Madrid was a much different atmosphere than Barcelona. The locals were much friendlier, the weather was slightly hotter, and the architecture was much different, but still awesome to say the least.
I got a chance to visit many beautiful places and got a good view of the Spain countryside. I think the best way to tell a vacation story is through pictures.
Checked out the famous Prado art museum and visited the city’s many squares, including Plaza de España, Plaza Mayor and the bustling Puerta del Sol
Damn those cod fritters for being so utterly delicious
The shopping started in Madrid!
I took a day trip to Toledo. Check out this great panoramic picture I took! Toledo is absolutely stunning! It reminds me of a romantic scene from a movie.
Still drinking! I upgraded to a pitcher instead of a glass. I learned that all Sangria taste differently. All good, but different ingredients. I did add a Tequila Sunrise to the mix.
I spent a few hours in Cordoba
I went Olive Oil tasting – I had chocolate ice cream drizzled with Olive Oil …Yummy!!!!!
Sizzling Hot Seville…108 Degrees!!!!!! I visited the Alcázar Palace and the tiled pavilion of the Plaza de España. I bought awesome one of a kind ceramics signed by the artist.
This is the last photo I took in Spain. It’s been 10 beautiful days! I guess I can go home.
