Outfit: Vest- Joules, Chambray Button Up- J. Crew, Leggings- J.Crew, Flats- Target, Hat- Southern Proper, Purse- Kate Spade, Pearls- J. Crew New Year's Day, the day where America is either fighting a "head ache" or traveling. Me? I'm traveling. James and I are heading down South, back to North Carolina to be with the other part of the family (soon to be my family too!) I hate traveling and being uncomfortable so leggings are obviously the most appropriate choice for "pants." The vest keeps me comfortable in the car while providing some color to this otherwise dull ensemble and the hat...well, it keeps my hair in place believe it or not. And yes, I'm obsessed with baseball caps. I especially love the corduroy aspect of the hat. It's one of my new favorite things and I intend to wear corduroy up until mid spring if I can help it (go ahead...judge me all you want.)
For traveling, the Kate Spade bag is perfect because it fits my laptop, my new read (actually I'm still working on The Devil Wears Revenge, the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada), my planner, makeup bag, and other necessities. The bag itself is light weight so it doesn't add to the stress of weighing down you or your shoulder on long trips.
