Once introduced at MWC 2012 last. Prime Transformer TF300 Asus finally ready for launch. Asus has officially announced that its quad-core tablet will go on sale on 23 April 2012 (today) will be available online and at physical retail stores one week later. Asus will initially provide the first model of royal blue with other colors while models such as torch red and white iceberg will be available in June. The basic model will use 16GB of internal storage media and sold for 379 dollars, while the 32GB model priced at 399 dollars. In addition to tablet, tablet Tegra 3 quad-core processor with Android OS 4.0 also provides docking as well as Prime Transformer. Docking will be available at a price of 149 dollars and Transformer models are not compatible with previous editions. The tablet is basically a cheap version of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. This model has a slightly slower processor, no LED flash, and a smaller capacity battery. However, the tablet is still considered quite weighty. Attached processor is Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.2 GHz, IPS touch screen 1280 x 800 pixels, coupled with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, microHDMI port and microSD card slot. In it installed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with 1GB of RAM, plus a 1.2 MP camera front and rear 8MP camera and GPS. Initial review on this tablet looks generally positive. Droidlife Prime Transformer recommend to buy if you have more money $ 100, while Slashgear feel that the reason to buy a tablet that is more expensive just because of the flash. Meanwhile, Engadget notes that the tablet does not have a battery life as Prime Transformer which is 10 hours but can still be relied upon by the endurance time of 8.5 hours.
