Being a Christmas baby, I have a tendency to navigate towards cute Christmas’y toys and dolls. Elf Magic‘s booth caught my eye at Toy Fair because it was manned by Santa Claus himself. Yep. Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, whatever you call him, was there spreading cheer though a product called Elf Magic.
Unlike the popular Elf on a Shelf, Elf Magic is designed to be played with. These stuffed elves are 10″ tall. They are soft, plush dolls with a head of yarn hair. Elf Magic elves (boy and girl models) come in multiple skin tones and hair colors.
One nice thing about Elf Magic is that each elf comes with 10 accessories. You get a bed (ie: interior of the box), blanket, passport, backdrop, a shake jar of snowflakes, the Magic Elf poem and reusable stickers. The outfit is removable and counts as part of the 10 accessories.
Last (and new for this year in honor of 25 years of Elf Magic), you get a quality picture book about these Elf Magic elves.
Besides the 10″ line, you can purchase pocket sized elves (6″) or super large elves (3 ft tall). There are also a number of outfits to purchase for your elf! Some are really cute, too!
On top of that, they also make Hanukkah Helpers for those that celebrate Hanukkah.
I personally think these are really cute Christmas dolls and would totally choose Elf Magic over the popular Elf on a Shelf. I love that the element of play isn’t lost with this product.
