Katharine Hepburn’s family estate in Connecticut has been put on market for the first time and touring the rooms is like peering through history. Katharine Hepburn bought the property in 1939 which is in a private beach community and it was her main residence for the next 65 years. It sits on a private beach, has 3 floors and 8000 (!!) square feet. Howard Hughes used to land his sea plane right in front of the property and presumably, if you owned a plane, you could do the same as the house comes with its own private dock. The house is a classic and elegant beach home, but what does it for me (in addition to its esteemed Hollywood history) are the views. Uninterrupted views all around for as long as the eye can see.
