Boutique Hotel is the height of luxury. LA’s Palihouse Hotel in Santa Monica is glamorous and romantic in its dark and dramatic interior. Take a tour with actress Camilla Belle through the hotel’s sumptuous bedrooms and the 1920s Mediterranean style architecture. The bar is my favorite area. A few tequilas and I just might never leave! The Palihouse just seems so quintisessationally LA to me. Vintage but modern, with quirky details in the common areas, light airy bedrooms, windows open to let in the ocean breeze. A welcome shadow from the midday sun or a secret hidey hole at night. In it’s faded glamour the Palihouse seems almost timeless. A masterclass in how to combine old with the new, to create a truly current space.
