Nails in Shrimpy // Vanilla Mint EOS Lip Balm // Lips in Beguiled // Lip Liner in Beestung // Chubby Liner In Bambi // Original Tangle Teezer
When it comes to beauty, I prefer to invest in and stick to quality products that work for my skin type and tone but I also love finding affordable makeup products that I can buy in many shades to suit my mood or versatile style. Topshop have always had a good range of beauty products to choose from and I recently decided to indulge. I have previously featured some of their lipsticks and nail polishes that I had acquired on the blog (here) so I knew what to expect with most of my 7 new selections.
Nails in Shrimpy
I love natural/nude nail shades so I couldn't wait to try the nails in shrimpy which is the perfect pink for my skin tone. I applied 2 coats as the first coat was too light but it was fast drying and hasn't yet chipped in the 3 days I've worn it.
Vanilla Mint EOS Lip Balm
Before applying any of my lipsticks I always make sure I moisturize my lips for a longer lasting smooth finish and I've wanted to try the EOS lip balm for so long that it just made sense. I didn't even realize it was flavoured until almost an hour wearing it and that made it hard to keep it on since it tasted so good but it is long lasting even if its effects aren't.
5 Years of Beauty - Lips in Beguiled
I usually love a good deep red lip and but this burgundy shade suited me so well and strangely for a lipstick is so moisturizing. After 5 hours of wear, it was still all in place and even though it didn't have it's initial lustre, it had a fab matte look to it.
Lip Liner in Beestung
Lip liners are really enjoying the lime light right now given the recent boosts of Kylie Jenner et al but I have always loved them as a method of keeping a neat finishing line around my lipstick. The Beestung lip liner works really with the Lips in Innocent lipstick which is a beautiful light pink shade that I just had to have.
Chubby Liner In Bambi
I've always preferred a liquid liner to a pencil liner just because it's longer lasting and any tool that makes it easy to apply is a winner. The chubby liner is so easy to use that it makes my makeup routine that much easier. It's quite faint on first application but touch ups give it a great look. The pen has the perfect thickness and tip for my usual cat eye flick, which lasts all day.
Original Tangle Teezer
There should never be knots in a lady's crown & glory, so the original tangle teaser was a no brainer. It a simple brush, which I chose in classic black, but does a super job at keeping my hair neat.
