Here are some more tips for wannabe yummy mummies!
Have a good skincare routine Mornings are tough for mums; just getting the kids clean, dressed and fed can be like pushing water uphill with a fork, I am already dreading the school run with Sienna and maybe another one! But that being said, all you need to find is two minutes to swipe some cleanser, toner and moisturiser across your face. You wouldn't start your day without cleaning your teeth, so do the same for your skin, it will thank you for it in the future. Embrace the new One of the most exciting additions to the modern mum’s skincare staples is the anti-aging serum. For a quick, dramatic boost, products like regenerist serum will give skin a dewy glow throughout the day, and, used long term, can help keep you look young and beautiful, with minimum effort. Serum has become my favorite step and doesn't add much more time to the routine at all!Power up with vitamins You know I like to eat healthily and as balanced as possible most days and it's not only for my energy levels but also my skin. Vitamins A, C and E all work magic on your skin in different ways, and eating foods rich in nutrients like blueberries, broccoli, almonds and avocado won’t just blast your body with antioxidants, they make great healthy snacks for peckish little ones, too. Sienna loves blueberries and broccoli! These vitamins can also be applied topically, skincare products containing vitamin E protect your skin from environmental pollution, so are great for battling school run traffic pollution, while vitamin C fights free radicals and clears blotchiness and vitamin A is invaluable for resurfacing acne-prone skin! Cutting down on sugar will help get that glow too. Be an active mum Walk the school run instead of taking the car a couple of times a week. If the gym’s too time-consuming, join in with the kids next time you take them to play sports. In summer, run around in the garden with them or take a walk in the park. Not only will it keep you trim and naturally invigorate your complexion, they will love you for it! Do you have any other tips?
