This week's Top Ten Tuesday on The Broke and the Bookish is: Ten Books I'd Love To See As Movies/TV Shows. I watch a lot of TV and though I have often been disappointed in adaptations of my favorite books, I'll always give them a try before rushing to judgment. Here are a few I'd love to see:
Station Eleven - Emily St. John MandelThe Cuckoo's Calling - Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling)The Razorland Trilogy - Ann Aguirre
Will Grayson, Will Grayson - David Levithan and John GreenThe Storied Life of A.J. Fikry - Gabrielle ZevinReady Player One - Ernest Cline
Good Omens - Neil Gaiman and Terry PratchettLife After Life - Kate Atkinson
Black Dove White Raven - Elizabeth WeinThe Sweetness At the Bottom of the Pie - Alan Bradley
I'm sure there are many more, but these are the ones that jumped out from my shelves and man, I wish someone at a major film studio would make this their to-do list! (I'm available to consult on casting decisions too, if necessary...)
