Have you all considered buying the x-10 and the z-10 sets? I have heard 
rumors about their touchpad being good in features and also the apps are freely available for the new Blackberry devices. Even the Blackberry cases and other accessories are all newly introduced for them.
Let me highlight some features of the Blackberry z-10 for you. It does not have any physically located QWERTY keyboard, but it is all touch-based. It comes with many good features as follows:
1) Dimensions are said to be 65.6 x 130 x 9 mm. This is just a rumored dimension area, as we will come to know of the real features when we get our hands on the phone in real.
2) It s weight is said to be 110 grams.
3) The screen for display is 4.2 inches with the features of multi-touch, light LCD etc. The screen resolution is of 1290 X 768 pixels.
4) The OS is the newest version of the BB OS named as BB OS 10.
5) On board memory is said to be 16 GB Flash memory with the availability of an SD card slot.
6) The processor is dual core chip with the speed of 1.5 GHz.
7) The size of the RAM is 2 GB
8) The battery life is assumed to be 10 hours for the talk time. It is 305 hours for the stand by time with 3G usage over the battery
9) The phone has two cameras. The rear camera is 8 MP with a provided flash light, and the features of auto focus. The video quality is 1080p video HD.
10) Front camera is said to be 2 MP with a 3 times zoom (3X z) and a video feature of 720 p HD
11) There are location facilities for the phone in the form of GPS with an assisted autonomous and simultaneous GPS facilities
12) Bluetooth port is 4.0 low energy consuming feature.
13) The Wi-Fi facility is 802.11 a/b/g/n. It can turn into a 4G facility
14) It also has the differentiating sensors like the: accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor.
The x-10 is the same with a back flap for the QWERTY keyboard. You can use the keyboard as you used it in torch with the touch screen. However, the difference is that it is a very big touch screen, as you will find in the iPhone 5. For the apps, you can easily log on to the app world of Blackberry. The app store has changed altogether now. Previously it was not capable of providing the apps to users for most of the BB phones and if they were, they had rare compatibilities. That is why, with such a complaint, users were backing away for BB but now it will not be the case. Now you would be able to get all kinds of apps and not only just this, but you will also be able to get a compatibility feature for iTunes and the Android app stores too.
