It’s summer and here in Boca Raton, we are currently experience one of our two seasons: hotter! But that cannot stop men from wearing a chic blazer or coat and still look cool (in more ways than one). Beyond the summer heat, the fashion world is in Europe looking ahead, while men’s fashion’s biggest event goes down. Last week, designers started showing the hottest trends in menswear with their Spring Summer 2013 collections. A few of the highlights:
Double Breasted Suits
Classic blazers still reign, and the double breasted jacket isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Light Layers
Light layers at Kenzo kept things cool.

Yellow Hues
Hermes still rides the neon wave, only slightly muting a great shade of citron for next year’s first dose of color. Also chic? The funky cropped tailoring of the pants (another emerging trend). Very European, and very spring appropriate.

Cropped Pants
Again, Canali proves that next spring’s hottest color is officially yellow. And, once more, it pairs well with the cropped pant nearly as well as bare ankles and bow ties do.

Big Pants
Also seen at Louis Vuitton, voluminous pants showed a nice contrast to the trendy cropped look. Relaxed and casual, but still majorly fashionable, baggy pants have moved beyond your favorite rapper’s behind for SS 2013.
