Top 5 Best Looks from People’s Choice Awards Red Carpet

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

Last night’s People’s Choice Awards brought big wins for Harry Potter and notably absent Katy Perry, along with a bevy of other favorites from the pop culture zeitgeist. However, our favorite part of the evening was less about awards and more about fashion. Last night brought out the newest trends in red carpet fashion, and the verdict is positively jewel toned. Bright hues and plenty of metallics shone on last night’s red carpet, along with plenty of flapper style and a hearty helping of Marchesa gowns. Who wore our favorite fashion and jewelry looks? Check out our top 5 below!

Lea Michele 2012 people's choice awards

Lea Michelle stands out in strands of flapper-esque ivory by designer-of-the-evening Marchesa. Lea stayed true to her favorite celeb jeweler and wore jewels by Lorraine Schwartz, and we love the way she accented those earrings with bright pink lips.

Vanessa Hudgens 2012 people's choice awards

We love this beaded double halter Jenny Packham gown on Vanessa. Of late, her fashion choices may be deemed questionable, but we love the sheer overlay, beading, sexy slit and satin black pumps. It pairs well with her sleek updo, smoky cat eyes and gold Arunashi jewels. Those gold dangling earrings elongate her neck and we love gold bangles

Kelly Osborne people's choice awards 2012, honor, kelly osbourne

Kelly Osbourne’s Honor gown couldn’t be more on-trend. The label has one of the most buzzed about pre-fall collections and this gown is a fabulous example of why it’s so cutting-edge cool. We love the lace and sheer sleeved bodice, the Tangerine Tango skirt and long, modern stripe that ties them both together. Kelly completed the look with simple, understated jewels by Roseark.

Kristen Bell 2012 people's choice awards

Kristen Bell looked amazing last night in a fire engine red frock by Valentino and metallic cap toed pointy Louboutins. She paired this avante garde look with Anita Ko earrings, and we are so happy to see her rocking this year’s hot trends the illusion neckline, lace, and leather skirt.

Emma Stone people's choice awards, 2012, green, gucci
How do we love thee, Emma Stone? Let us count the ways:

1. Those sexy gold t-strap and black suede peep toes.

2. The skinny tux pants

3. The classic Tiffany & Co. jewelry

4. The soft smoky eye and easy, breezy coif.

5. That. Blazer. Gucci’s emerald green jacket complete with gold chain is the perfect complement to Emma’s signature red locks, and is the greatest turn at deco menswear that we’ll likely see this year.

All in all, these ladies (yes, especially Emma) brought some chic looks to People’s Choice Awards red carpet and set the tone for an exciting awards season! Who was your favorite?
