A lot of famous smartphone manufacturers launched mini versions of their flagship models at one point or another, which is why we’ve decided to make a list today of what we think are the best four mini handsets on the market. 
Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

As a rule, the mini smartphones are not only smaller, but also weaker. However, when it comes to the Xperia Z1 Compact, this is definitely not the case. This mini model has the same specifications as the “regular” Xperia Z1! Therefore, this model may very well be at the top of the list.
This waterproof mini version comes with 16GB of built-in storage, 2GB of RAM, a quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and a brilliant 20.7-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front camera. The device measures 127 x 64.9 x 9.5 mm, and runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

The Galaxy S4 Mini measures 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs just over 100 grams. Its memory – 8GB – is at least two times smaller than that of the original Galaxy S4 (which comes with either 16, 32 or 64GB), but let’s be real, 8GB is not at all bad. The S4 Mini has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front one.
LG G2 Mini

The LG G2 Mini comes with a 4.7-inch display, 8GB of storage space, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel main camera. The model is only a bit weaker than the Galaxy S4 Mini, so it should serve you more than fine if you decide to purchase it. There’s also an LTE version of the G2 Mini available.
HTC One Mini
One Mini
The HTC One Mini was launched in 2013 and now we’re all waiting (patiently) for the next mini HTC model – the One Mini 2. The One Mini comes with a dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, a 4-megapixel primary and 1.6 megapixel front camera. It measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs around120 grams.
Which Mini Versions Are Coming Soon?
We are looking forward to the other mini models of popular flagships! Like we’ve mentioned, the HTC One Mini 2 will go on sale pretty soon and Sony should release the Xperia Z2 Compact soon. It’s safe to say that the LG G3 Mini will also come out one day, but first we need to see the release of the actual LG G3.
