Happy Hump Day Lovelies. Today's look is actually what I wore to attend some shows at London Fashion Week but it was a very short stay as parking was a nightmare. That'll teach me to drive to West London, on a Sunday in the middle of Fashion Week, Oh well. I love this look as its quite simple but unexpected. I'd normally pair a white shirt with a vest top or jumper (see here) but I received this beautiful cotton crochet top called 'Mary' from the lovely Delores Airey, whose line of high end knitwear pieces is a must-have. I also featured the 'Mary' top in my recent beauty story (here) but I wore it without the shirt underneath and front ways. In this look, I'm actually wearing the top back to front as I liked the way the crystals at the bottom broke up the black. Monochrome and red is a famous fashion favourite, but as orange and blue work so well with monochrome also, I thought I'd work them in via the coat and necklace. My skirt was a steal from the New Look sale and I'm loving it as its so versatile, easy to work as corporate wear or casual with a tucked-in rock tee. Enjoy! TL. Xx
