It’s your last chance to have a five course Haitian-inspired meal on Monkeyflower Ranch; a working organic sheep farm in North Monterey County. Local wine, produce and beautiful organic fromage from Monkeyflower Ranch will all be a part of this dining experience.
Appetizers: Haitian boulette and vegetarian corn croquets
From the Garden: Local fresh greens with mango and avocado
From the Farm: Garden cheeses from Monkeyflower Ranch
From the Sea: Tiger prawns in Cajun spiced cream sauce
Vegetarian toasted baguette in Cajun spiced cream sauce
From the Land: Griot, pork braised in onions and orange juice
Vegetarian Cajun spiced fried tofu in a spicy orange sauce
Pois Noir, black bean puree with braised spring onions
Riz Djon-Djon, Long grain rice infused with djon mushrooms
Bannann Peze, crispy fried plantains, served with sour cream
Dessert: The Penny Ice Creamery ice cream with homemade cones
Cheese-maker Rebecca King will be on hand to give farm tours, Haitian children's art will be on display and lots of sheep, pigs, dogs and ducks will be available to pet. Join us on the farm!
