Tjendana Villas Nusa Dua Review – A Bali Delight

By Livingthedreamrtw @livingdreamrtw

Tjendana Villas Nusa Dua Review – A Bali DelightTjendana Villas in Nusa Dua are located just off the main road on Mumbul Hill. These villas in Bali are newly built and the complex opened in July of 2014.

As Tjendana Villas are located on a hill the design of the villas reflects this. Each of the 2 and 3-bedroom villas are spread out over two or three levels. There are also 1-bedroom private pool villas ideal for honeymooners, as well as 2 and 3-bedroom Villas for families and groups of friends.

As we had six members in our family, we stayed in a three floor, 3-bedroom villa during our stay and had a very enjoyable time.

As you enter the Villa you are greeted with the dining area, open plan kitchen and pool. The pool area also has a deck with two lounge chairs and an umbrella. The kitchen has a medium fridge, two burner stove and a kettle. There is also cutlery and pots and pans if you wish to self cater.

This area is outdoor living and there is no air conditioning here. As you walk upstairs there is a roof lounging area with a day bed that looks over the grounds and lush greenery which was comfortable during our stay.

Rooms

As mentioned earlier, we stayed in a 3-bedroom Villa. The main bedroom is on the first floor, the same level as the kitchen, dining and pool area. The rooms are a sleek design including king size beds, flat screen tvs with several cable channels and quirky art and lamps.

The storage is small but sufficient with a glass double robe in the corner of the room.

The bathroom in the master bedroom overlooks the pool and has sliding doors out to the pool from the bath.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served to your villa, or you can choose to have it served in the restaurant. The restaurant is not fully functional at the moment due to the recent opening and only serves breakfast; however, we were told it will be open soon and room service and meals in the restaurant will be available.

The choices for breakfast are American or Indonesian served with fruit, juice and tea or coffee.

Buggy Service

As the complex is quite spread out there is a buggy service to transport guests to their villas from the main lobby. In addition there is also a complimentary transport service into Nusa Dua for meals as the complex is not close to any eateries and the restaurant is not yet complete.

Overall we had a very nice time at Tjendana Villas Nusa Dua as the property is designed for relaxation and the transport service into Nusa Dua allowed us to explore more when we were interested in leaving without our own transportation.

We'd like to thank our friends at Tjendana Villas for inviting us to stay with them during our time in Bali. Check them out if you are traveling in the region! As always, all opinions are our own.
