'Tis the Season... for the FLU.

I bet all of you sat if in front of your screens this week thinking "really Steph? I thought you were making your 'good-old-blogging-comeback' and then you go and disappear again?!! Thanks a lot." I will have all of you know I was the lucky recipient of a cold/flu sometime last week and have been paying the painful price since last Thursday. Sure sure, I  could have thrown some silly fashion or makeup collages together of things I just "HAVE TO HAVE" but that would have been a lie. I don't really "HAVE TO HAVE" anything. Once you're sick and in pain and feel like absolute garbage you realize all you really want is the ability to walk and sit down without your entire body aching and your skin not being so sensitive that it even hurts to apply deodorant.
 True story. Laugh it up.I still have a old man hacking cough that I'm sure looks super attractive when I'm waltzing around in my black suede heels stumbling all over the place because I might break a rib. But the show must go on! I'm in the full swing of working both of my jobs and I don't know if you've noticed BUT, its December 5th. Mother F***ing December 5th. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? Guess who still doesn't have a tree? This girl. Guess who hasn't even started her Christmas shopping, let alone her Christmas list? This girl. Give me a break. And on top of being sick, I just put $231 into my fabulous hunk of junk car. Merry Christmas to me! No seriously, I'm thankful. I drive a beater but at least I no longer drive a loud brake squealing beater. That's definitely a plus. Safety first... On the bright side, when I was stationed on the couch for three days I made a wish list on NET-A-PORTER and emailed it to my boyfriend. I tried emailing it to Santa but I kept getting an error. Hmmm. Pull it together Santa. I'm sick and I have no patience for this.ARE YOU READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS??
