If you have ever been to a concert or a fireworks display and had ringing in your ears, imagine never being able to turn off that ringing in your head! We who suffer from tinnitus deal with this every day. Mine occurred while in the military over 20 years ago. Some days the ringing is so loud that I cannot hear from my left ear, other days it is softer. I have to sleep with a sound generator to mask the noise while sleeping.
