When I began blogging in March 2011 I had no idea that the blog would become so popular. I started the blog as an extra platform for the Facebook mums group I run, a space for them to share their parenting fears and worries. I did write mainly around pregnancy and parenting but over time the mothers wanted to share their other” worries and fears.
The blog offers support to many and the mothers who have shared their real life experiences have gone on to help so many others out there. The blog is read by an average of 1,900 daily readers.
The problem I am now faced with is a blog with 2 very different sides;
I have a parenting side to the blog that features everything from pregnancy, feeding kids on a budget to fun and activities.
The other side of the blog is the real life experiences that parents have suffered and are fighting daily.
Can sexual abuse and self harm work alongside potty training tips and teething problems?
I have to come to a decision on what to do
1 – Keep the blog just how it is
or
2 – Split the blog into two and have 2 blogs – one dedicated for parenting and one dedicated for real life issues
What do you suggest I do?
