Rosemead is asking the community to participate in its Canned Goods and Toy Drive to help fellow residents through the holiday season.
The City of Rosemead will be sponsoring a Canned Goods and Toy Drive from November 14 through December 12. The items will be donated to People for People, an organization that prepares holiday food baskets for the less fortunate. Special containers have been set-up at the following locations:
- Garvey Center, 9108 Garvey Avenue
- Rosemead Park, 4343 Encinita Avenue
- Garvey Park, 7933 Emerson Place
- City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard
- Rosemead Library, 8800 E. Valley Boulevard
- Shuey School, 8472 E. Wells Street
- Janson Elementary, 8628 Marshall Avenue
- Savannah Elementary, 3720 Rio Hondo Avenue
