Three Torn Mice

By Kathybarbro @KathyBarbro
Three Torn Mice I simplified a project posted to Artsonia from Holman Elementary School. Their second graders added a painted background to their art, but I opted to just use the torn mouse idea, which is so darn cute.
1. For bright colors, try the colored cardstock paper in the scrapbook section at JoAnn’s or Michaels. Start with a 4.25" x 11" piece of white cardstock, and tear out three ovals. (NOTE: Some kinders may need to practice just tearing straight lines before attempting ovals, which takes a little more dexterity.) Attach them to a sheet of colored paper with a glue stick.
2. Students use small squares of pink paper to cut out oval ears. After a skinny tail is cut too, they glue them in place on the body.
3. Use a black marker to make two eyes.
