Three killed, several injured in Nowshera blast
At least three people were killed and more then 20 wounded in Nowshera on Sunday when a planted bomb exploded outside the shrine of Zirarat Kaka Sahib.
According to police sources, the remote control bomb was planted in a watercolor near the main gate of vault. A large number of people were gathered in the shrine due to the second day of Eid al-Adha.
The security forces cordoned off the area immediately and launched investigations.
The injured have been rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital, where emergency was imposed. Some injured are reported in critical condition and casualty toll is likely to climb.
No group has claimed the responsibility of blast so far but Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have carried out the attacks on shrines and spiritual places in past.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has strongly condemned the blast and said an illegal mobile SIM was used in the attack.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and Governor Barrister Masood Kausar have also condemned the blast,
