At least three people were killed and 18 including two security personnel injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up near a police mobile in Bannu.
The suicide bomber, riding the motorcycle, struck his vehicle with police mobile van which was completely destroyed. The two police personnel inside the van were critically injured.
Intense gunfire was heart in the area following the blast. Injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital and other nearby hospitals.
Police have launched the probe and the search operation has been got underway.
