Three hundred high-profile Pakistani websites hacked and defaced by Turkish hackers

About three hundred high-profile Pakistani websites including Google, Yahoo, Apple, Microsoft, Visa, HSBC, Visa, Coca Cola, blogger, Sony and eBay have been hacked and defaced by a group of Turkish hackers on Saturday.

Revealing the reasons for breaching the websites, the Turkish hackers, who are considered as world best defacers, wrote on the defacement page:

“Why we have wasted our time to hack Pakistani Sites? Just because let us convey our message. We warned you and we were willing to fix your vulnerability but you think we are jokers and you guys took it as a joke? Yes it’s time to bang you guys!!”.

According to Softpedia.com, all it happened due to a security flaw found in systems belonging to a Pakistani domain registrar – PKNIC — which allowed hackers to enter into the websites and deface the pages. .

Early Saturday morning, attempts to access www.Google.com.pk led to a page, which had bartered the familiar Google logo and a search bar with an image of two penguins walking on a bridge.

The deface Page said:

“Kankalarim hep yanimda arkadas içinde Yanimda olmayan mi var çekimlik her nefeste”

The Google Translator translated this to:

“My homies in a friend always there for me have not shot by me with every breath”

It further added the line “Downed Pakistan” to confirm that the webpage had been hacked.

Google.com.pk is still not opening and instead a message “Your website has been suspended!” is displaying. The Pakistani users are using the Google.com to access the content.

Last week, angered over brutal Israeli onslaught on the Palestinian city of Gaza, a group of Pakistani hackers had hacked and defaced several high-profile Israeli websites including MSN, Bing, Skype, XBOX, Intel, Live and CNN.

“The Notorious Hackers are Back,” wrote Pakistani hackers, who hacked the websites going by the names 1337, H4x0rL1f3, ZombiE_KsA, and Invectus. “Your war on Gaza will make you cry blood and let the next few days prove that to you ! ….”
