Three Essential Items Every Bride Needs

For many women, preparing for their wedding is the most exciting yet stressful time of their lives. If you’ve ever planned a party for more than a handful of people you know there is a lot to take into consideration. Everything from color schemes to appetizers needs to be taken care of and if you don’t have a wedding planner than expect months of chaos and breakdowns. Even if you aren’t bogged down by a hundred and one wedding details, the fact that you need to look great on this day can be stressful enough. Pulling from my experiences and the many weddings I have attended here are the three essential items that I think every bride will need.

Couple’s Massage

Obviously the food, flowers and dresses will get taken care of but what about the sanity of the bride and groom? You don’t want to be walking down that aisle with the weight of the world sitting on your shoulder blades. Getting a couple’s massage is more about reconnecting the bride(bridal dresses) and groom(groom dresses) and giving them that time to feel special with one another. Whether you do this before the wedding or after the honeymoon, this is a great gift they can use at any time of their lives.

Teeth Whitening or Dental Work

Unless you have the smile of a movie star you may have some insecurities when it comes to your teeth. Even after four horrendous years of having braces i’m still not completely satisfied with my teeth. One of the best things any bride can do, especially since she will be taking a lot of pictures is to get her teeth fixed. Whether that means a simple whitening job, or some veneer work whatever it takes to get a confident smile is necessary for the most important day of your life. You’ll be looking back at those pictures for years to come and nothing makes anybody look better than a beautiful smile filled with confidence.

Long Lasting Beauty Products

Before I talk about this I have to admit that I’m sort of a makeup junkie. I wear waterproof mascara on a daily basis. If you are preparing for your wedding day you may already have a makeup artist lined up. However, I would recommend getting some long lasting beauty products of your own. Instead of having to retouch your lipstick every hour or so, get products that have more of a stain or rich pigment to them. You don’t have to look like you have a mask on to feel beautiful. Stick with the basics and get a long lasting foundation that is matte, waterproof mascara that you won’t have to worry about and a great lip color that won’t transfer on your future husband’s lips.

Instead of getting the bride and groom another coffee maker or lamp, get them something that will they can really use and love. A teeth whitening package will not only boost their smiles on the wedding day but will build their confidence for years to come. The couple’s massage is an activity that will de-stress both of them and bring them a little closer together. Lastly, no bride wants their face melting off or black tears falling down their cheeks. Good makeup is a necessity to get any bride through the day and through the hundreds of pictures that will inevitably be taken.
