This Valentines Day is Cupcake-less

Yesterday I attempted to bake some chocolate peanut butter cupcakes from scratch for Ryan for Valentines day. Anything chocolate peanut butter is his favorite. After forgetting one ingredient while at the store I thought to myself "hmm I have a different type of flour at home I'll try that". Bad idea. My cupcakes turned into muffins and the muffins turned into brown rocks after I baked them for too long. It gets better... while making the frosting I used far too much water and that was that. Ruined. I still arranged Ryan's small Valentines set up even though there would be no Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes Dance of love and joy. At least we have some new flowers for our apartment, some delicious wine to share together, and tomorrow a VDay/Bday night out. 








{The only reason I even purchased these heart-shaped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups was because I planned on smashing a few up to sprinkle on top of the peanut butter frosting for aesthetics sake. I'm glad they served another purpose to distract from the cupcake fiasco}Happy Love day friends.
