Well, it’s not me talking about Gaddafi. Instead, I like to share with you what I’ve learned from my major and I’d like to get YOUR opinion on Gaddafi.
Majoring in Political Science has taught me that Political Science isn’t actually a science. Rather, it’s an exchange of theories based on ideologies and sometimes supported by facts. There is usually never a right answer which is why I’m open to hearing what other’s think about politics.
However, others are not so open. It seems as though many people believe that they need to have an opinion about everything and that their opinion is the only correct one.
I don’t disagree that some things are facts. I believe that their is truth out there that we can find and that we need to seek it, for example, seeking Jesus. However, there are some truths that we can’t find; instead, we can discuss what we think the truth might be and we can also discuss the truth we’ve found with those who don’t believe it. We still need to be willing to hear other’s opinions.
So, I’m asking for YOUR opinion. What do YOU think about Gaddafi’s death? Should people be celebrating? I personally say no because they Bible says to not rejoice when one’s enemy falls. However, I’m open to hearing what YOU think!
