We’re continuing lasst week’s theme of glamorously spooky cocktails into this week’s happy hour. While we checked out a super glam rich purple ring and witches brew martini last Thursday, today brings us a new ring just right for the Halloween season. This gorgeous shield ring is covered in rose cut diamonds and we’d rock it any day of the year. But something about the blackened sterling silver mounting, the way the antique style diamonds form a spider web pattern, and the vaguely Victorian feel have us thinking this ring is just perfect for a fancy halloween costume.
Vintage Style Two Tone Rose Cut Diamond Cocktail Ring
Approximately 3.78 carats of rose cut diamonds ranging from light brown to white in color are all SI in clarity and surrounded by a black diamond border. It’s giving us tortoiseshell vibes, cracked windowpane vibes, haunted house leaded glass window vibes – all in a very good way. We need a drink just as glamorously haunting to sip on, and we think that Muy Beuno Cookbook’s La Llorona is the perfect match.

This fabulous cocktail is named after one of our favorite episodes of Grimm (#nerdalert). Kidding, it’s the name of a super creepy Spanish folklore star, a woman who drowned her own children and now haunts crying little ones in search of new babies. This talented blogger and foodie was told this tale as a bedtime story (!!) Luckily she wasn’t scarred for life and decided to spin our worst nightmare into this fabulous looking concoction mixed up with brandy, bitters, sugar and citrus. Cheers (and we’ll join you in sleeping with one eye open…all the better to keep staring at that cocktail ring!)
