Somehow. Somehow, I made it 31 years of life without a REAL pair of cowboy boots. And Stephen made it 24 years. Yes, previously, I had a fun pair rhinestone encrusted fashion boots. But this time, I’m talking down and dirty vintage Southern give me some Sweet Tea because I could be in a Taylor Swift music video kind of boots. And funny enough, after all my scouring in the stores of Dallas, the pair I finally settled on, the sales guy tells me “Oh, those are Corrals. That’s the pair Taylor Swift made famous.”
“Of course,” I just laughed to myself. I have joked before that in another life I’d love to come back as Taylor Swift, so if the boot fits…
I still haven’t quite got used to my California preppy husband wearing his boots, but he’s starting to get a little true Southern in his swagger when he wears them.
