Sorry is something which is considered as one of the most fundamental words in the English dictionary.  This might be just a five –alphabet combination but let’s look at it in a different perspective. It is one of the most impactful and influential words. This words has the power to change the status of a relationship, make an enemy a friend, stop battles or solve misunderstandings, on a whole it has the capability to transform your social life.
People apologize genuinely when they realize that they are at fault and regret making that mistake and want to turn it the other way round. When somebody says – ‘I am sorry’, it doesn’t show that the blunder is all committed by him or he is of a lower dignity there but instead that shows that the individual values the relation, has realised his mistake and wants to rectify it. He deserves a chance there.  Just as it is said:
“Apologizing does not always mean that you are wrong and the other person is right. It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.”

There were two friends, Best friends I should say. The first one betrayed the other. They fought. For months there was no connection between the two. Clearly, the first one was at fault but his ego obstructed his way in apologizing and accepting his mistake.  One random day, the second friend gets a call. It said, ”He is dying. He wishes to see you.” On hearing this tears rushed down the smelted eyes over the cheeks of the friend. Without a second thought, he packed luggage and rushed to the airport. Next, he was at the hospital.  When he glaced at the friend lying on the bed surrounded with all sorts of fancy medical equipments, he broke down. He came and sat beside him and told him how much he meant to him and he regretted the fight. The friend on the bed gave a remorse face and said,' I am sorry for what I did my friend, I didn't intend it so bad. I hope you can forgive me.' To this the other one replied,' I had forgiven you long back. I was just waiting for you to realize and return.' With a small smile on his face the friend marched his path to heaven.
