A Woman’s Role In A Great Relationship.
When you take a look at modern day divorce rates, as well as the number of relationships that end without ever making it to the aisle, you really have to wonder what it is we are all doing wrong. Each sex is quick to blame the other for being at the root of the majority of those break-ups, but the reality is that both sides play a part in any dissolution. Honesty plays a major part in every relationship, and if you can’t even be honest with yourself when it comes to deciding what you really want, then you are doomed.
Women are usually very good at expressing what they want from a man, whereas guys tend to shy away from putting that sort of information out there. It’s not that they don’t know, but rather that they just don’t feel the need to lay it out for everyone to see, and that’s a problem. We guys are our own worst enemy, and rather than tell the woman in our lives what we want, we’d rather be miserable in a relationship, and then try to find what we want somewhere else. It may seem generic, but if you look at men who stay with their partner through thick and thin, you’ll find that those ladies tend to hold some very similar traits.
The woman the men adore and never want to leave more often than not already have their life together. She will have her career on track and has a number of good friends in place that she is quite happy to spend her time with her man can’t be there. She also tends not to be a phony, and shies away from drama and tantrums, which also means that she can have a serious conversation without becoming emotional and flying off the handle at every perceived wrong word from her man.
Guys also like a woman who can have fun like one of the guys, but who is also smart enough to have an intelligent conversation. There are some men who are threatened by a smart woman, but for those who are ready to commit long term, intelligence is an essential component in a compatible partner. I did say that men like women to be able to hang with the guys, but that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be sexy. Keep in mind that there can be a fine line between sexy and slutty, and although some women may not believe it, the majority of guys find trashy women to be a turn off.
If you had to pinpoint just one reason why men don’t leave their spouse, then it would most likely be because they have a woman who makes them feel loved every day. Guys tend to be like big old puppy dogs, and they love to be pampered a little and told that we are doing a good job. We need encouragement and support when we are down, and if a woman can provide that, along with a little sprinkling of all of the other items listed above, then she is likely to have that man for life.
