Deadline is reporting that Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold are in talks to reunite for another Wolverine movie. I never saw the The Wolverine in theaters, mainly because my wife acts all weird whenever she sees Hugh Jackman. She makes these weird feral, grunting noises. I’m not sure what causes these symptoms, but to avoid any possible embarassment for her, we just watch his movies at home.
The domestic gross for The Wolverine was kind of ho hum at $130 million, but overseas it more than doubled that take for a total of $413 million worldwide. That’s enough for Twentieth Century Fox to move forward with a sequel. Did you see The Wolverine (unless you are dealing with a spouse with Jackman Syndrome) and if so, are you excited for the sequel?
